1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how UAB „Marino projektai“ (Marino Projects), company code 304080897, registered office K. Donelaičio g. 19A, LT-92141 Klaipėda, Lithuania (the “Controller”, “we”), processes the personal data of visitors to www.marinoprojects.com and of people who contact us or apply for a job through this website.
We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.

2. Contact enquiries
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we process your name, email address, the subject and content of your message, and the date and time of the enquiry. When you write to us by email or call us, we process your name, contact details and the content of the correspondence.
We use this data to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of our communication. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where the enquiry concerns a possible contract, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
Form submissions are sent to our team by email and stored in the website database. If the required fields are empty, the form cannot be sent. You can always contact us by email or phone instead.
3. Job applications
When you apply through a job form on this website, we process your name, email address, phone number, the position you apply for, the description of your work experience, the CV file you upload (if any), and the date and time of the application.
The job form also has an optional box. If you tick it, we may contact you about suitable job offers by email, phone call or SMS, based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to info@marinoprojects.com.
We also receive candidate data directly from candidates by email or phone, and from job portals and recruitment partners. We may review information about your professional experience that you have made publicly available, for example on professional social networks.
We use this data only to assess your suitability for the position and to carry out the selection. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into an employment contract and our legitimate interest in selecting suitable employees (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
If you are not selected, we delete your application data when the selection ends, unless you agree that we keep it to offer you other positions. In that case we keep it for 1 (one) year from the date you submitted it. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
4. Cookies and website statistics
The website uses cookies: small text files stored in your browser. Necessary cookies keep the website working and remember your cookie choices. With your consent, we also use statistics cookies (Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the website.

5. Third-party services and links
Some parts of the website may use services of other providers, for example fonts, maps or spam protection. When these load, your IP address and browser data may be sent to the provider, which processes them under its own privacy policy.
The website links to our pages on Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. When you open them, those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies.
6. Who receives your data
Your data is available only to the people at Marino Projects who need it for the purposes described above. We share it with service providers that host and maintain the website and email systems and act on our instructions (data processors). The legal department of the MARINO group handles requests related to personal data on our behalf. Where the law requires it, we provide data to competent authorities.
Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer relies on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data and correspondence for as long as we need it to handle the enquiry and to protect our legal rights. Candidate data is kept as described in section 3. Cookie retention periods are listed in the Cookie Policy.
We may keep data longer if it is needed for a dispute or complaint, or if the law requires it. When the retention period ends, we delete the data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we process about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict the processing of your data;
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
To exercise your rights, write to juristas@marinogroup.com or send a written request to our registered office. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within one month of receiving your request.
9. Security
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to personal data is limited to authorised people, and our service providers are required to keep the data confidential and secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our data processing or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
